Anayat Ullah Rather a resident of Chakura Village of district Pulwama on Tuesday received the Human Rights Nobel Award for his dedicated Nursing and Educator Services to the community.
Anayat Ullah Rather obtained his BSN Degree from Adesh Institute of Medical Science and Research with highest Academic merit on Prime Ministers Fellowship in the year 2020 . .
He is currently working as Nursing Officer in the Department of health . Self-motivated and highly energetic professional with strong record of success in challenging projects. Experienced in working in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.Recognised for high teamwork skills and great leadership potential.
Anayat graduated as Best Outgoing student from Adesh University with Academic Award of Excellence. He was the President of Student Association .. He has received a number of appreciation certificates from University and later appointed as Gender Champion in the college.
He has Completed Cross Roads Programme (Digital Humanities ) from Harvard University ,
Introduction to Nursing Programme( Kings College London ).
In the 2018 he completed Swatch Bharat summer internship and and was awarded as Best Team Leader Award and was Organiser Cum Delegate of National Workshop On “ Critical Care Nursing 2019 ” .Later in 2019 he was Selected as a Delegate by Asia Model United Nation .
On 29th July 2019 he was Honoured with YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD by IMRF India .
Post his graduation he got selected in GMC Baramulla and GMC Srinager. Keeping COVID Pandemic in consideration he joined GMC Srinager and worked as CoVID Warrior Nursing Officer in ICU of CD Hospital.At the end of Pandemic he resigned and Joined District Hospital Pulwama as a Nursing Officer in Emergency Department .
Along with his Nursing Career Anayat worked as a Tutor in different Paramedical Colleges and has taught thousands of Young Nurses with the vision to spread quality education and prepare skill-full future Nurses in the field to uplift the community health standards. And in Oct 2021 he qualified the most prestigious competitive exam conducted by JKSSB .
He is the inspiration for youth in the field , despite of hardships and struggles he came out as shining star . On conversation With Anayat he said If you set your goals ridiculously high and
it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else’s success. He said I always want to excel in whatever i do, i know i have to work hard for it and i am trying hard to achieve it.*To make my parents proud .I want my parents to be known by name.*
Notably The Human Rights Nobel Award is the highest Honorary Award of the Republic of India. instituted on 3rd of January 2021.The Award is conferred in recognition of exceptional service, performance of the highest order, without distinction of Caste, Colour, Creed, Religion and Sex.
