MHA Seeks President’s Approval for Prosecution of AAP’s Satyendar Jain in Financial Corruption Case

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has formally requested the President’s approval to prosecute Satyendar Jain, a prominent AAP leader and former Delhi Minister, for alleged financial corruption. The request is based on evidence gathered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which has accused Jain of money laundering and illegal financial dealings.
Jain’s tenure as Delhi’s Health Minister has been under scrutiny due to these corruption allegations. The ED has reportedly uncovered evidence of financial mismanagement and the use of shell companies for laundering money.
Jain has denied all charges, accusing the central government of orchestrating a political campaign against him. The President’s approval is now required before legal proceedings can begin. If granted, the case will move to court, and Jain will face trial.
